About
Welcome to Afuri Roppongi Crossing Gate, a gem nestled in the vibrant heart of Roppongi, Tokyo. Renowned for its signature yuzu ramen, this location embodies the essence of modern Japanese dining. Not merely a place to eat, Afuri transforms the ramen experience into a celebration of flavors that captivate both locals and visitors alike.
Stepping inside, you are greeted with a warm yet contemporary ambiance that sets the stage for your culinary journey. The highlight here is undoubtedly the yuzu-flavored broth—its citrusy notes perfectly balance the rich depths of ramen, providing a refreshing contrast that keeps the palate intrigued. According to enthusiastic diners, this unique flavor profile makes Afuri's ramen one of the best in Japan.
However, the offerings do not end with the famed yuzu broth. Afuri Roppongi Crossing Gate features a variety of options, including delicious wonton ramen, which many guests rave about for its delightful taste and quality. The carefully crafted dishes cater to diverse preferences, ensuring there is something for everyone, even for those seeking vegan options.
The attention to detail extends beyond the broth. Diners have experienced moments of slight inconsistency, such as the thinly sliced pork chashu being a tad charred or the tenderness of chicken varying across locations. Yet, these are minor quibbles easily overshadowed by the overall quality and uniqueness of the ramen experience.
For those on the go, Afuri delivers with quick service, making it an ideal stop for a satisfying meal without long waits. The restaurant's ability to maintain a steady flow of customers while ensuring a quality dining experience is commendable.
In summary, Afuri Roppongi Crossing Gate is not just a ramen shop; it's a culinary sanctuary where flavor and convenience intersect. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or a first-timer, this establishment promises to tantalize your taste buds and perhaps even change your life—one bowl at a time. Don't miss the chance to indulge in a bowl of their iconic yuzu ramen during your next visit to Tokyo!
“ Like their yuzu ramen and rise with chicken Great servise and taste Recomend this plase!) ”
“ Afuri has become a well-oiled machine now, each branch serving consistent ramen of decent quality. Their signature yuzu flavored base is still quite unique, as it’s not heavy and not too salty. If you are looking for a quick ramen fix with short to no queueing, this is the place to be. ”
“ the first time been here ,and have 雲吞 wonton ramen , it’s delicious and excellent ”
“ Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Tokyo. The Yuzu Ship Ramen is unique and so so flavourful. ”
“ Amazing food and super quick service! It is difficult to find a good bowl of vegan ramen but they understand the assignment perfectly! ”
“ A+ [would come again / 還會再來] · i love afuri ramen!!! · if i have a Japan food bias it would be this restaurant · their signature yuzu ramen = one of the best ramens in Japan · but time to nitpick this location: · pork chasiu slightly too charred on the edges here (but not burnt like Shinjuku location LOL) · chicken slice was not as tender + juicy as the Harajuku location · ordered the thick noodles first time (i still personally prefer thin cause it goes better with the yuzu broth) tldr: now come and change your life with afuri ramen /ᐠ - ⩊ -マ Ⳋ ”

Preference : Taste: nice soup base, very unique flavor, such a warm treat in the cold weather time. Very tender chicken meat, good quality bouncing ramen. Atmosphere: busy & cozy restaurant At time night in Roppongi center area. came for dinner with friend. Wait for around 15 mins, which is acceptable. counter table only. “ Yuzu themed ramen shop around many major stations. I tried the summer time cold ramen. It was amazing. The soup was perfectly balanced, with dashi and yuzu, with some fruity yuzu jelly. It was so good. Good range of menu and different noodle types to chose from. I think Mizuna didn't go well in the bowl and Aburi bork was thin and more like a piece of cooked ham and it is quite expensive for a bowl of ramen about 1400 yen. Otherwise i really enjoyed it. I also bought the take home ramen to try the other flavour. ”
